Christine Trent is the author of the Lady of Ashes historical mystery series and several other historical novels. Her most recent book, St. Clements Bluff, is suspenseful novel set in her wonderfully history-rich home community of St. Mary's County, Maryland, her wonderfully history-rich home community. It is the first in a new series, The Heart of St. Mary's County. Book 2 will be released in summer 2024. 

Christine manages to write books with at least one of her cats walking relentlessly across the keyboard, demanding food and attention.
